Charlie Brown
President / Owner
Charlie came to Colorado Springs from Texas in 1975 to continue his successful career in radio broadcasting. He owned and operated his own radio station before leaving the radio business in 1984. After taking some time off to travel he opened Charlie Brown’s Goodtime Travel in 1985 and it quickly became one of the top travel agencies in the state. In 1994 Charlie married Joy Robinson a native of Colorado Springs. He has two daughters and 3 grandchildren.
Since moving to Colorado Springs Charlie has been very active in the community and has received numerous awards and citations for work with non-profit organizations. He is Past Chairman of the Board for the Better Business Bureau of the Pikes Peak Region. Charlie has served two terms on the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and is a past recipient of the Small Business Person of the Year Award presented by the Chamber of Commerce.
Charlie is an avid golfer and has served on the steering committee for the International Association of Golf Tour Operators, based in London, England. He is also an accomplished travel expert who has traveled to over 50 countries and been on more than 60 cruises.

Pamela Chesnut
Travel Manager
Pamela was born and raised in Ohio, she has been in Colorado the past 20 years. Pamela and her husband Brooke have two wonderful daughters.
Pamela has been in the travel industry for 20 years, she has been with Charlie Brown's Goodtime Travel for 4 years. Pamela has become certified in the following fields:

She has traveled Europe extensively visiting France, Ireland, Greece, Turkey, Croatia, Spain, Italy, Holland, Switzerland and England. Pamela has also traveled to Africa, Hawaii, Mexico, Canada, Caribbean and many destinations through out the United States.
She and her husband own and manage DreamCycle Tours. Her Hobbies include trekking, running, skiing, cycling, gardening, cooking, theatre and yoga, but her real passion is travel. She loves to share her travel knowledge and expertise with others.

Dixie Christensen
Travel Manager
Dixie is originally from Utah but spent some time in Oregon before she moved to Colorado. Dixie has been married for 9 ½ years. She and her wonderful husband Dave have two awesome daughters.
Dixie has been in the travel industry for 7 years. She has been with Charlie Brown’s Goodtime Travel for 5 years. She is a Certified Travel Agent and specializes in Disney Destinations, Hawaii, Mexico and New Zealand/Australia. Dixie recently returned from a vacation in New Zealand and Australia. She has also traveled Hawaii and Mexico as well as many destinations within the United States. She has also cruised in the Bahamas.
Besides travel, Dixie enjoys playing volleyball and she and her husband enjoy rock climbing. She is also a classical pianist.

Evelyn comes to us from a background in the travel business. She has traveled all over the United States, Both Disney resort areas, Mexican Riviera and Caribbean destinations. She started her journey in the travel business working for Ramada in Miami. Then she worked in every aspect of reservations at Carnival Cruise Lines (7 Years) and has experiance with groups and individual reservations. Evelyn knows the cruise business very well and has traveled to virtually most Caribbean ports and can provide insight on every destination. So if your looking for the European charm of Puerto Rico, the reggae beats of Jamaica, the crystal waters of the Bahamas, the adventures of Mexico, or the relaxing beaches of St Maarten, Evelyn will know just where to recommend you go for the local charm. Diana is a native of Colorado. She has lived in Pueblo for the past 49 years. She is married to Jim and they have two adult children and 4 grandsons. Diana has been in the travel industry for 13 years. She joined Charlie Brown’s Goodtime Travel 6 years ago when a office was opened in Pueblo. Diana now works part time in the Colorado Springs office and does outside travel planning from her home in Pueblo. Diana is certified in the following fields:

Gunilla Kjellin
General Manager
Gunilla was born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden and traveled extensively in Europe before moving to the United States. After coming to the United States she earned a degree in business at the University of Southern California. While living in California she also worked for and managed some of the largest travel agencies in the Los Angeles area.
She is the Co-Founder and Past President of the Los Angeles Chapter of Professional Women in Travel, and also the Past International Director for the International Federation of Women’s Travel Organization.
Gunilla has been with Charlie Brown’s Goodtime Travel for the past 7 years as General Manager.
After more than 25 years in the industry she still LOVES going to work every day and feels very privileged to be part of our client’s dreams.

Gunilla has been married to Mike for 28 years. They have two beautiful twin daughters, Hanna in San Francisco, Jessica in Dallas and a son Max at Florida Southern College in Lakeland. Another reason to always be on the go…

Debbie Kizner

Debbie was born in Los Angeles California and began her career in travel in that area. She has been in the travel industry for 20 years having worked for Princess Cruises, Japan & Oriental Tours, Hyatt Lake Tahoe, La Costa Resort & Spa, Hertz Car Rental and AAA. Debbie joined Charlie Brown's Goodtime Travel 2 years ago when she and her husband David settled in Colorado Springs.

Cindy Stivers
Outside Agent - Colorado Springs (719-630-3737)
Cindy was born in Denver and lived in Glenwood Springs and Anchorage, AK prior to settling in Colorado Springs in 1965. The summer following high school graduation, she was in a car accident paralyzing her from the waist down. After a year of hospitalization and rehab, Cindy was off to the University of New Orleans where she completed two years of college.
In 1975, she started her career with Mountain Bell and retired 21 years later from Qwest.
She was notified in 1989 that her job would eventually be moving to Denver and since commuting was not her idea of a good time, she took the opportunity to go to Mountain States Travel School at night. Her love of travel made this decision easy.
Shortly after graduating she began working part time for Charlie Brown’s Goodtime Travel until she got to know the business thoroughly. She has continued working from her home as an Outside Sales Agent for almost 19 years. Cindy enjoys working with her long time clients who are family and friends.
Cindy and Jim have been married for 24 years. They enjoy their pets and getting together with their family and friends. They own a Honda Gold Wing and love getting away for day trips or weekend getaways. They have enjoyed 8 cruises, 1 visit to Disney Land, 3 Walt Disney World Adventures, 7 trips to Hawaii, several vacations in Mexico and numerous trips around the United States.

Sandy Heley
Outside Agent - Grand Junction, CO.
Sandy has been in the travel industry for 20 years. She holds a college degree in travel management and also is a Certified Travel Counselor (CTC), an honor she is truly proud of. She specializes in leisure travel but has worked in all aspects of the travel business from corporate to group to international specialist.
She an her husband have traveled all over the world and in 2001 Sandy quit her full-time position with Charlie Brown's Goodtime Travel to start her new career of full-time mom. She currently works from home as an outside sales agent and is based on the Western Slope of Colorado in Grand Junction.
Sandy stays very busy with her children and their activities but still finds time to book travel for family and friends. Her other hobbies include photography, scrapbooking, interior design, freelance writing and of course, spending time with her family.
